Jake’s first trip abroad with friends

You know those online mommy groups? I am a member of one! I met marvelous people through it and made incredible friends. Jamie, one of my amazing mommy friends, had recently moved to Australia, so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to visit her. She was sweet and kind enough to let us stay at her place while we were in Sydney. Our kids had a blast together! Of course, us mommies enjoyed our glasses of wine at night, just thinking how lucky and fortunate we are to be having these amazing kids.

I think that by now, you may have already gotten the idea that we simply love photoshoots! For this one, we had our photoshoot at Mrs. Maquarie’s chair with one of our brand’s representatives in Australia. Even though the location was stunning, the photographer wasn’t at his best performance. Unfortunately, the photos turned out rather disappointing.

After we left Sydney, we drove to the Blue Mountains which are part of the UNESCO world’s heritage. We stayed there for a day before heading to the Canberra Snow Resort. Jake took his ski lessons there and his natural talent shone through! Even though I was so close to almost breaking every single bone in my body, the mother and son time we spent there was precious!

This 14-days trip was awesome and I really wish we can relive it all over again!
